First Baptist Church of Pearl City Upgrades Video Projection System

Located on Hoolaulea Street across from Highlands Intermediate School, First Baptist Church of Pearl City selected Bright Light Digital to help upgrade their existing video projection system. The previous projection system consisted of a single, ceiling-mounted Sanyo LCD projector throwing an analog video signal to a curved screen hung from the sanctuary ceiling. Bright Light Digital installed two 5000-lumen NEC 1080p laser projectors together with a pair of 100″ Draper Targa electric screens. A 75″ and 40″ display provided by the church was also installed in the sanctuary. The 75″ display installed on the opposite wall allows the pastor the ability to see what’s being displayed to the congregation. In addition, HDMI over CAT6 extenders together with a four-way HDMI distribution amplifier was utilized to split and distribute the HDMI computer signal from the control booth at the back of the sanctuary to the projectors and displays. The extenders include infrared transmitters and receivers that allow the control booth operator to turn on/off all devices from a single location. Bright Light Digital is pleased to have been associated with this project and thanks First Baptist Church for entrusting us with this upgrade.
