Kokoro Cafe Opens in Honolulu

A scrumptious new dessert shop called Kokoro Cafe recently opened at the Royal Hawaiian Center’s Paina Lanai Food Court in Waikiki.  Serving up a local take on Taiyaki ice cream, the new shop features several menu items, including “Mochi-Pops”, a golden mochi waffle covered in a delicious glaze and toppings; Dole Whip Floats; and “Shaka-Boom”, a waffle cone filled with soft serve ice cream.

Kokoro Cafe contracted Bright Light Digital to procure, install and configure a new digital menu board that would accompany the static backlit menu board that was fabricated by Honolulu-based Peterson Sign Company.

Congratulations to Gil and Lisa Ann Shin, owners of Kokoro Cafe on their new tasty venture! In addition to partaking in the Mochi-Pop, the author of this post can’t wait to return to the Royal Hawaiian Center to sample the other delicious treats being served up by this exciting new dessert shop in the heart of Waikiki.
